Professional foster home Päiviö’s accountable pedagogues are Jenni Lento and Mirva Paasirova. In the same building also live Mirva’s spouse Jussi Puustjärvi and the role of the grandfather belongs to Reijo Paasirova. Steffan Wunderink works at Päiviö as a permanent employee.
Mirva Paasirova is a special teacher, illustrator and adventure instructor. Mirva is great in getting everybody involved and with her positive approach she sees the best in everyone and reinforces those traits. Mirva’s hobbies are the arts, horseback riding and many other outdoor activities.
Jenni Lento is expressive art therapist and she has a bachelor’s degree on social services. As a professional Jenni aspires to provide her support as a human being to whom one may freely express ones deepest feelings and to be understood. As a therapist Jenni is sensitive, intuitive and accepting. Jenni’s hobbies include singing, painting, horseback riding and other outdoor activities.
Reijo Paasirova, the grandfather has made his lifework mainly in social services and child welfare. He has been strongly involved in the development of adventure activities for youth. As an educator he is mainly experience pedagogue.
Steffan Wunderink is a Dutch social worker and a safari guide. Steffan is great in improvising in the middle of everyday chores and challenges. Steffan has worked for Päiviö since 2011 and belongs to our community with his wife and two children.
Jussi Puustjärvi is a carpenter and a photographer. In Päiviö Jussi is a versatile role model for the children. Jussi likes to involve youth with the house work. He also teaches children music and other skills for those interested.
Juho Päkkilä is a 24 year old youth and leisure time instructor. He is outgoing and his strength is activating the youth through different outdoor activities.
